Ukrainian National Report is on women's rights in childbirth and the situation of women's consent to medical interventions during childbirth really. It is a unique and the only one since Ukraine got its independence in 1991. Prepared for and presented at Europe Summit on Human Rights in Childbirth (HRiC) in Strasbourg, France (October 19, 2016). Based on 3 Surveys and over 3,500 responds, spanning 12 tables and diagrams. Preferred to be shared among researchers, obstetricians, midwives, doulas and other birth practitioners worldwide. -

Home waterbirths can be so happy and healthy. I have been fortunate to assist midwife Marina (editor’s note: Dadasheva-Drown) and to witness many of these ecstatic deliveries. These births were a result of the ‘training’ that the pregnant women undertook with spiritual midwife Marina. The training involves not only the physical but also the mind (especially the mind’s ‘attitude’) and the spirit. The prenatal training is a preparation for labor and delivery and also prepares the mother for vigorous postnatal dynamic gymnastics for baby. Yoga is a very good preparation as is swimming. -
