Working with Families from Challenging Situations – Midwife’s Storytelling from the Philippines and India

Lina Duncan (Mumbai, India) is a Speaker of the Second International Online Festival on Natural Birth and Blessed Conception 'Miracle in the Heart: Conceiving.Believing.Transforming.' (December 9, 2015).

The unique experience of the British midwife who dedicated her life to the assistance to women bearing and delivering their babies in critical living conditions. Her stories move to tears. Line tells about:

• situations he faced with, helping and assert women’s rights in the Philippines and India,
• a hearty treatment to a woman,
• the power of intention to support poor people in their right of the provision of medical care in state hospitals.

Lina's dream is to found birth centres that will provide friendly midwife care model and gentle birth assistance.
