Ukrainian National Report is on women's rights in childbirth and the situation of women's consent to medical interventions during childbirth really. It is a unique and the only one since Ukraine got its independence in 1991. Prepared for and presented at Europe Summit on Human Rights in Childbirth (HRiC) in Strasbourg, France (October 19, 2016). Based on 3 Surveys and over 3,500 responds, spanning 12 tables and diagrams. Preferred to be shared among researchers, obstetricians, midwives, doulas and other birth practitioners worldwide.

We do recommend this unique workshop of South African inspirational midwife Ruth Ehrhardt planned in Sardinia (Italy) for midwives, doulas, monitrice and mothers "Rediscover Birth: Protect the Basic Needs of Mother and Baby"!

Monitrice (from French: she that carefully monitors) or PLA (Professional Labor Assistant) provides women the same support as doula does, but she also possesses enough qualification to monitor the condition of the mother and her child in labor on an equal basis with medical specialists.

Many of these experts are worthy of being heard by our audience and that’s why we’ve got such an idea: as an inertia of the wave of the Second International Online Festival’2015 ‘Miracle in the Heart: Conceiving. Believing. Transforming’ immediately after the Fest - since December, 17, we arrange a constant Weekly Interactive Online Programme ‘Miracle in the Heart on YouTube’.

For the purpose of our initiative to implement alternative obstetrics in Ukraine (you can find more details here), OlhaVereshchak and OlhaGorbenko, doulas andprofessionalsof the ‘Semitsvet Family Development Center’, have written an open letter to our Minister of Health of Ukraine inviting his attention to a very important problem – the inadequacy of obstetric aid system in Ukraine, whichjeopardizesthe reproductive functions of a woman and the health of our children!
