In Kenya the protection of women’s rights in childbirth is provided for the Patient's Rights Code, in particular. Obviously, our remedial NGOs and maternity hospitals should embed the experience of other countries and use such documents in antenatal clinics and maternity hospitals.

If a woman faces with a doctor’s mistake or incompetence in her childbirth, and it causes serious consequences for life or health of the mother or baby, what is the right way to act? Is a woman really able to protect her rights? Is it reasonable to sue a doctor of a maternity hospital or to forgive his infringement and make “the agreement of lawsuit”?
