The article considers thephysical and psychological reasons of rhesus incompatibility in pregnancy referring to the world statistics and wide-known practitioners in obstetrics, psychology, midwifery, and naturopathy. The article outlines the ways to define a real Rh-incompatibility and the doctors’ “overdiagnosis”. The article contains a research of the reasons to use Rh-immunoglobulins (anti D-immunoglobulins (predominantly RhoGAM®) in pregnancy and childbirth. For the purpose of our initiative to implement alternative obstetrics in Ukraine (you can find more details here), OlhaVereshchak and OlhaGorbenko, doulas andprofessionalsof the ‘Semitsvet Family Development Center’, have written an open letter to our Minister of Health of Ukraine inviting his attention to a very important problem – the inadequacy of obstetric aid system in Ukraine, whichjeopardizesthe reproductive functions of a woman and the health of our children!
