Father of 3. Fernando Molina, MD, is a Family Physician, Certified Prenatal Educator and Male Midwife for over 20 years, a homebirth activist and a member of the Global Movement for a Humanized Birth. He has delivered over 1200 babies.

Dr. Molina studied pre-med and got his bachelor of science at the University of Houston. He then went on to complete his medical degree at the University of Los Andes in Venezuela. As he spent more and more time in the labor and delivery wards, he didn’t like what he saw. He concluded that women needed information, empowerment and emotional support during their pregnancy and birth. He thought that there must be a better way of approaching pregnancy and childbirth.

In 1998 he got his certification as a Magical Beginnings Enchanted Lives prenatal instructor from Deepak Chopra and David Simon at the Chopra Center for Wellbeing in La Jolla, California. He is a Founder and Director of «Magical Beginnings» Prenatal Course in Venezuela and USA and International Speaker sponsored by Midwifery Today. Fernando’s «Brighter Beginnings» prenatal/childbirth education online course has guided and helped more than 400 couples to discover the power they have to give birth together, joyfully and naturally.
